For a client based in Dunkerque, we are looking for an experienced Document Controller.
To promote efficient, high-quality collaboration, the Document Controller helps to ensure that the documentation used by the customer, its partners and collaborators is reliable, correct, complete and well communicated. As part of a project team, he/she is responsible for managing and controlling the documents produced during the various phases of the project using an integrated management tool.
>> Check in real time that the state of the project documentation is close to the quality required in the document management tool. Define the corrective action plan and implement it
>> Audit the overall review and approval process, inform the project manager of any deviations or anomalies
>> Help project members (customers and partners) to properly use the document management tool
>> Control user access
>> Collaborate with the project control team to improve working methods
>> Training in information and documentation management, corporate documentalist, or equivalent experience
>> Several years of experience as a document controller, preferably in the engineering sector, or as a company documentalist in a multicultural environment
>> Good written and spoken knowledge of French and English
>> Knowledge of some EDM systems. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Comfortable with IT tools and systems.
>> Excellent organisational and coordination skills, sense of priorities
>> Meticulous, detail-oriented
>> Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
>> Able to work both independently and as part of a team
>> Service and customer oriented
>> Good listening skills and ability to understand the issues at stake
>> Flexible, open-minded and a good team player
